A large Spirit Flask by James Dixon of Sheffield.
The glass flask is covered in black leather to the top half with a removable cup made of electro plated Britannia metal to the bottom. It has a screw on cap. The underside of the cup has worn, faux hallmarks for James Dixon and Sons along with the model number 5457, Made in England and 1 1/2 Pt.. The cup is engraved with the initials F.W.B.
A good sized flask by a good maker. Circa 1900.
