The sconce is of a strong shape with a good flared lip and it is interesting to note that the number 6 is stamped on the dishes, where the sconce screws on. We have seen a few other similar pairs of Brighton Buns marked with a single digit in the same place and it may suggest that they were made by the same maker with the numbers used as some form of reference.
