This mahogany Racket Press by Jaques of London has a brass name plate for Capt. B.L. Clay, West Kent Regiment. It will take upto 3 rackets, has a leather fishtail handle, brass fittings and a flat base to allow it to stand. Basil Laing Clay OBE was born in 1896 and enlisted in 1914. He became a Captain 1923 and received his Majority in 1937, retiring a Lt. Colonel. Circa 1925.
