Rosewood Whatnot |
|
A Victorian demi-lune rosewood Whatnot with barley twist columns. The columns, finials and legs are all cut with threads to allow them to be unscrewed and the shelves packed. A very ornate piece for campaign furniture and it could be argued that the design is constructional but the joints have never been fixed to give greater strength. The antique period is circa 1845. We are very happy to email or fax full condition reports upon request. |
