Made of tin with a covering of thin leather, this travel inkwell can be considered large in size. This case is opened by a brass push button to the front, to reveal the green painted tin interior with a removable glass well. The case lid has a sprung leather pad which fits tightly of the well aperture when closed. The handle to the top is brass. Late 19th Century.
