A round leather Collar Box.
The Collar Box is made of pigskin leather and lined with a smooth coloured card to the interior. A belt strap over the top is used to secure it.
Such boxes were a common item for a gentleman to keep his removable shirt collars at the turn of 1900. They are still useful today for storage. Early 20th century.
