This set of seven razors (one for each day of the week) are housed in a coromandel box.

The box is bound in gilt brass with a plate to the top engraved with the name 'W. Petersen'. The interior is lined in black velvet with ebony teeth to divide the razors and the inside of the lid is lined in padded blue silk stamped with the maker's name Lunds, 56-57 Cornhill, London in gilt; Lund, London is also stamped to the top of the lock plate. The razors have ivory handles and are also stamped Lund, 57 Cornhill to the blade as well as Empire in gilt on the face of the blade. Each razor has a day of the week to its top edge, which can be viewed when its cased. The high quality of this set is as you would expect from a maker such as Thomas Lund.
