A nickel plated Travelling Candle Lamp in leather case with 4 glass globes.
This unnamed Candle Lamp has the versatility to either be stood as a standing candlestick or fixed to the wall as a bracket stick. The sprung candle tube is removable from the column stand. When this is done the top of the column can be hinged at a right angle to the base which has a hole to the rim to hang it on a wall. The tube is then put back in and will hold the position of the column. The top of the tube has a crown cage to grip the glass globe shade. The Candle Lamp has a leather travel case which also takes the 4 glass globes, allowing spares for breakages. Late 19th Century.
