A leather hide Cigar Case.
The case is a standard design, made of two sleeves with one fitting inside the other, allowing it to expand in length. Each sleeve is made from one piece of leather, finely stitched to one side and the bottom. The outer sleeve is cut with a bow shape to the mouth to make it easier to fit the inner sleeve.
The case has a number of creases and marks built up over years of use and it has developed a deep brown colour. Circa. 1900.
