A leather Saddle Bag with a pair of adjustable belts straps to the back.
The bag has a plain interior but a small pocket under the flap lid which has a brass twist lock. The flap also has a brass twist catch with a hole to the centre to allow a padlock to be fitted. The bag is made of good leather hide with a softer leather for the sides so that they will expand to fit the contents. A shoulder strap could probably be fitted to the back straps to turn it into a shoulder bag.
A well made bag. Early 20th Century..
