This travel mirror folds flat for packing. When set up it can either free stand, supported by its 2 front feet and weighted, bell shaped foot to the back, or its bracket can be bolted to a wall or tent post. The design is also unusual in that it has a candle sconce on a swing arm which, with the aid of the mirror as a reflector, would provide good light. Mid to late 19th century.
