A green leather on metal Calling Card Case. SOLD
The Case has a silver metal rope twist moulding to the edges of both the lid and case and the interior has a gilt wash.
This is a simple item but is elevated by the quality of its manufacture. It is further enhanced by the wear to the green leather giving it a lovely variation in its colour. Early 19th Century.
