A leather Tent Pole Strap with brass hanging hooks and rubber lining.
The corrugated rubber lining is designed to help the Strap grip the tent pole. The belt strap has 7 holes to adjust the diameter of the belt to the tent pole. This design is known as a Securem and they also sold a version with an extended hook to hold a lantern. They were sold by the Army & Navy Store, and others, either side of 1900.
