This Day Bed is ratcheted on all 3 sections to adjust it to numerous positions including flat.

This model was made by a few firms including Robinsons and The Army & Navy Club. However, most did not have arms or removable legs, as this model does. Made of stained beech and caned with buttoned cushions, it makes for a very comfortable chair or bed. The ivorine plague gives the details of 'Leveson & Sons, 26 Knightsbridge, London S.W., & at Manchester & Liverpool. Works Lawrence St. London, W.O.'. Leveson's full details are given in British Campaign Furniture by Brawer. Circa 1900.
