A leather cased set of 4 plated small Beakers with a gilt wash to their interior.
The set also has a fifth, funnel shaped cup that holds a small corkscrew to its centre on a screw fitting. Although this cup looks like a funnel, it cannot be used as such and the shape is purely designed to take the corkscrew. As it has a gilt wash it was meant to hold liquid. The design is certainly unusual but considered with travel in mind. The set has no maker's marks. Early 20th Century.
